DJ KB is based out of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She moved to the “City of Brotherly Love” to expand her artistic experiences, specifically musicianship. Her passion for music began while growing up in Tampa, Florida. At a young age, KB began to appreciate music’s influence on her heritage, using it as a source of strength and expression. Although she pursued and obtained a pharmacy degree from Florida A&M University (Tallahassee, Florida), she never lost her interest in musical arts. KB’s interests include, but are not limited to, the genres of Hip Hop, R&B, and Neo-Soul.

Since pursuing the art of deejaying, DJ KB has had the opportunity to tap into the expertise of several legendary DJ’s in the Philly area. She has spent many a long night studying alongside mentors and teachers in a quest to uphold the name of “deejay”. Her inspiration stems from classic movies such as 1984’s “Breakin’ ” and 1992’s “Juice”.

While her career as a scientist has been blessed, DJ KB couldn’t resist her musical passion. Faith, patience, determination, and love drive DJ KB to keep soaring to new musical heights. She invites the world to join her on this journey.
